Many of you know that I started sellin Pampered Chef a few weeks ago. I never knew that I was into Pampered Chef until I went to a show. There have some pretty cool stuff. So I decided to have a party and see if I could get enough sales to get what I wanted at a pretty cheap price. I was able to get one item half priced, $40 in free product, and 20% discount on the rest! I was stoked!! But when I was making my "wish list" I ran into an all too common problem...I wanted a lot of stuff! So what better way to get to know the products and earn enough money to get what I wanted (and a few other things too) than to become a consultant myself? Right, that's what I did. Anyways, maybe it's because of the economy...but I am having a heck of a time getting people to have a cooking show or catalog party, and I need to have 3 more by August 27 to "qualify." So I am kinda bummed, but I will survive!
On a more positive note, I held my first show as a consultant last night, and I think it went fairly well. I was pretty confident and I had a good time, and I think that the host and guests did as well. ;)
Join me in my quest to become more like the Proverbs 31 wife and mother. Here I will share stories about my life and family, photos, recipies, my thoughts on books, product reviews, and much more. I hope that you are blessed by your time here! Please feel free to leave comments and let me know what you think!!!

Dinner, revived!
I am so excited. You have no idea what this new discovery means for my family!! I had a Pampered Chef party a few weeks ago and we made a one pan chicken dinner - it was a variation of the 30-minute chicken. Anyways, I was able to cook a WHOLE chicken AND vegetables in the microwave in just over 30 minutes! A WHOLE CHICKEN!!! Naturally, I bought the deep dish baker that was used in the recipe. I received the products from my show the other day and made the 30 minute chicken AGAIN last night. This time I opted to remove the skin from the chicken before cooking to reduce the fat - Zack objected, saying that it was going to dry out the chicken...oh he of little faith, lol. It took about 30 minutes to cook the chicken and the veggis. I love it! I also have a few other good recipies to try in this baker - 30 minute ribs, orange glazed sticky ribs, mexican chicken lasagna... I love it! In fact, I love it so much that I now sell it - that's right if you every find yourself looking for a Pampered Chef Consultant, look no further! (Ok, so that last sentence was a bit self-serving, but hey, it's MY blog!):P
