“Baby Orajel® Baby’s First Tooth Photo Sweepstakes” and **GIVEAWAY**

Baby Orajel has claimed March as National Teething Month:
Traditionally, more babies begin teething in March than any other time of year. According to U.S. birth records, the greatest number of births each year normally occurs from July through September. And this means many babies, who on average begin teething at seven months, are well on their way to toothy smiles by March. That’s why the maker of Baby Orajel® has named March National Teething Month.

To celebrate they are looking for adorable teething "Baby Orajel Baby's"
This is your chance to share a photo of your teething baby with all of America!! How exciting! All you have to do is go to www.babyorajel.com before March 31, 2010 and submit a photo of your little teether. Baby Orajel is looking for babies who have four or fewer teeth at the time the photograph was taken, and please only one photo per contestant! Once the deadline is closed, ten participants will be selected at random to become finalists.
Once the ten finalists are chosen, you get to vote - and have everybody you know vote, especially if you know one of the little cuties!!! ;)
The selected first place winner will bring home a $1,000 Grand Prize, while
the second and third place winners will each win $500.

And the people at Baby Orajel are so sweet that the first five people to enter and leave me a link to your entry, will receive a tube of Baby Orajel Cooling Cucumber Teething Gel
Good luck to all who enter the sweepstakes, and don't forget to post a link so you can get your Cooling Cucumber teething gel!!!

Baby Orajel Review and Love to See Kids Smile GIVEAWAY

We were provided with Baby Orajel Tooth and Gum Cleanser and Baby Orajel Cooling Cucumber Teething Gel to review.

I love Baby Orajel Tooth and Gum Cleansers! There is the package that has the Cleanser with the finger cot for little babies and then packages with small baby-sized toothbrushes with the cleanser. I have used these products since Emily was born. The cleanser is fluoride-free and safe to swallow, contains no abrasives, is non-foaming, and comes in great flavors! What more could a mom or baby want!?!
It is important to clean babies teeth and gums because of the sugar content in things that baby eats and drinks, including breast milk, formula, and juice. Natalie has had her gums brushed since she was a few days old - with water, the cleanser is only recommended for babies age 4 months and older! Brushing now will create great habits later in life!

Cooling Cucumber Teething Gel is also awesome! Natalie is just now cutting her first teeth - crazy since she is a year old Thursday! The cucumber teething gel has soothed her wonderfully. She was not overly fond of it at first (would you be?!) but when she discovered that it took some of the pain away from teething, she is much more willing to have it! The box suggests "keep in refrigerator for extra cooling" so I did. Natalie prefers it cooled - I think! ;-) She opens her mouth for it when she sees it coming from the fridge! Great product!!

Thank you to Baby Orajel for this review!

I've teamed up with Danielle at Hunter PR to offer one lucky reader a Love to See Kids Smile Prize Pack
This Package includes Cooling Cucumber Teething Gel, Tooth & Gum Cleanser & Training Toothpaste ($15 value)

Baby Orajel study finds that 56 percent of Americans least like to encounter a cranky baby in a movie theater.

When is your LEAST favorite time to hear a baby crying, screaming, or just plain fussing?

According to a study by the maker of Baby Orajel® teething pain medicine, the worst place is a movie theater. Interesting results include the following:

• More than 56
percent of Americans claim that the worst place to encounter a cranky baby is at
a movie theater. Other places where people hate to encounter a cranky baby are
(in order): on an airplane (22 percent), at a church or religious function (12
percent) and at a restaurant (10 percent).
• Surprisingly, parents are more
likely than non-parents (61 percent vs. 52 percent) to place movie theaters at
the top of their list of bad places to encounter a cranky baby.
• While you
may not think it when sitting next to one, crying babies aren’t nearly as
annoying as other loud noises you may encounter during the day. The survey
showed that the most frustrating sounds to hear (in order) are: a car alarm (39
percent), jackhammer (28 percent), baby crying (21 percent) and a barking dog
(13 percent).
• Parents, who are more accustomed to the sound of cranky
infants, are less likely than those without children to get annoyed by the sound
of a crying baby. Specifically, 25 percent of non-parents named a baby crying as
the most frustrating sound to hear, while only 15 percent of parents stated that
in the survey.

After reading the results of the survey, I thought about it...yeah - cranky, teething babies are a bummer, but thankfully there is relief for them - baby orajel! We used both baby orajel and natural teething tablets with Emily and it made things a lot easier on her and on us too!!! Natalie is right there...starting to teeth (at 11 months, crazy, right?) But Baby Orajel has come out with a new soothing cucumber teething gel, I will let you all know what we think of it - we will be trying it soon!
