Wordless Wednesday -- Katrina Versus Weeds {{linky}}

The other day, the girls and I decided to take a walk to the mailbox. When we were almost home I asked if anyone wanted to pull weeds for a few minutes. Emily got excited and wanted to have a weed-pulling party -- everything is more fun when it's a party, right?!? Anyways I got into it, and quite a while later was wore out. Here is what happened:

I pulled a lot of weeds! The stupid weeds gave me two blisters and a fairly nasty little hole in a part of my finger (cut?) But, I am going to claim the victory for this round!

I cannot believe how fast time flies. Olivia is already 8 months old, she is growing up way too fast!! It seems like I was just pregnant. Olivia is likely our last baby, and she seriously seems to be growing up WAY faster than the Emily or Natalie did.

Wordless Wednesday --- The Result of Cooking With Daddy...

Sunday we made pizzas for dinner. I was going to make the crusts and let the kiddos "decorate" the pizzas, but life got crazy. Zack ended up making the crusts, with a little help from Emily and Natalie. I was sitting in the living room feeding Olivia when I heard Emily getting into trouble. Naturally, I wanted to know what was going on. This is what I saw....

Wordless Wednesday -- A Little Help From A Big Sister

Olivia is almost five months old. We have just, in the last few days, started her on baby cereal. This child eats! With the other two it took a few exposures before they were really willing to eat a decent amount of baby cereal, not Olivia.

Well Natalie was very intrigued to see "her baby" sitting in the high chair and eating cereal. She wanted to help - so, I got her a baby doll, a bowl and a spoon. She seemed content feeding her baby as I was feeding Olivia. Content until I had to get up and turn my back for a second that is....

Don't worry -- Olivia didn't REALLY mind! =)

Wordless Wednesday -- Yummy!!

This November when we went to Montana, the girls and I went to church with Oma and Sierra. Papa was going to go hunting while we were at church. When we got home from church this is what we saw. I was kind of surprised because my girls had never really seen a dead animal, but the reacted well!

I am thankful that we were there when Papa got his buck, and that the girls were able to experience this. Not to mention, we are also thankful for the back strap, the roast, and the burger!!!

Can you imagine what it will be like?

I normally don't even open the emails where the subject begins with FWD:FWD:.......
There really are not enough hours in the day as it is, imagine how much less time you'd have if you looked at everyone of those emails!!!
BUT every once in a while, a title will catch my attention - as this one did. It was titled
"Beautiful Drawings of Jesus"
The email spoke of an anonymous street artist who created these huge, beautiful pictures in less than an hour. Here are some of them:

Can you even begin to imagine the love and joy that you will feel when you see Jesus face-to-face? I cannot fathom how truly amazing it will be...maranatha Lord!!!

Check this out - I've never seen anything like it!!!

When the folks came down from Montana to visit last week, they brought some garden fresh tomatoes and a zuchini for us to enjoy. My dad found this tomato in the bunch. I had to have a picture of it because, honestly, I have never seen a tomato with stitches!! Have you ever seen one like this?

What is the strangest thing you have ever seen come from the garden???

Olivia Grace was born at 10:34 AM. She is our smallest baby, she weighed only 5 pounds and 5 ounces and was 17 inches long.

This is our little baby, he or she seems to be growing just fine. It's a stubborn little thing though, becasue as you know (if you read my previous post) that the baby would not uncross its legs so the sex could be determined.
