Wordless Wednesday -- Cake

This was Emily's 4th birthday cake. It was the first time that I had used my Wilton's crown pan, hopefully next time the cake wont stick at all. It stuck a little on the bottom of the crown. I can't believe that in only six months I will be making a cake for my baby's 1st birthday!!!
If any of you bakers have advice on cake baking -- or tips that you find useful, please leave them below.

    I think you did a good job! I can NOT bake a cake I just buy them. :)
