Gas prices have been crazy! They are finally starting to go down, thankfully! Here is what I paid this morning

Ok, that is not the regular price of gas, it is with pump-perks :) But I was still happy! Our gas is about $3.49 per gallon for regular. What is yours and what would you like to see it be?

Summer time means fresh berries and fruit!! I saw this recipe on Guy's Big Bite and knew that I had to make this cobbler. It smells so good. It literally just came out of the oven - I'll let you know how it was later!!

Wordless Wednesday -- Katrina Versus Weeds {{linky}}

The other day, the girls and I decided to take a walk to the mailbox. When we were almost home I asked if anyone wanted to pull weeds for a few minutes. Emily got excited and wanted to have a weed-pulling party -- everything is more fun when it's a party, right?!? Anyways I got into it, and quite a while later was wore out. Here is what happened:

I pulled a lot of weeds! The stupid weeds gave me two blisters and a fairly nasty little hole in a part of my finger (cut?) But, I am going to claim the victory for this round!

Wordless Wednesday -- Tis The Season, Yum!!

I love this time of year, when all kinds of fresh fruits and veggies are in season. We started this Spring off with a blackberry pie!!

It was delicious! The lattice work on the crust leaves a bit to be desired, but it was my first attempt at it, so not bad! :)

Wordless Wednesday...looking back, a long time ago! {{with linky}}

This was in December 2006. My first baby, oh how long ago it seems. They do grow up fast, looking back at some pictures I am beginning to realize just how fast it goes. It's a nice reminder to enjoy it all, even the frustrating moments!!

Friday I took the two older girls for haircuts. This was Natalie's first haircut, and she picked her style!! It turned out cute and she loves it, but I didn't want it that short!!

Wordless Wednesday -- Birds of Monterey

When we went to Monterey the last time, there was a "Bird Man" on Fisherman's Wharf. He had a slew of pretty well behaved birds that were always up for a photo shoot. Of course, I could not pass the opportunity! Natalie wasn't sure what to think, Olivia was interested, and Emily wanted one!

I cannot believe how fast time flies. Olivia is already 8 months old, she is growing up way too fast!! It seems like I was just pregnant. Olivia is likely our last baby, and she seriously seems to be growing up WAY faster than the Emily or Natalie did.

Wordless Wednesday --- The Result of Cooking With Daddy...

Sunday we made pizzas for dinner. I was going to make the crusts and let the kiddos "decorate" the pizzas, but life got crazy. Zack ended up making the crusts, with a little help from Emily and Natalie. I was sitting in the living room feeding Olivia when I heard Emily getting into trouble. Naturally, I wanted to know what was going on. This is what I saw....
